The artist, Mairi Krausse, has studied her craft for many years, displaying her talents since she was a small child.  She has worked at perfecting her drawing and painting style during college and under the tutelage of several master artists, with credit and tribute going especially to Lorna Stewart and Gale Murrell.

Mairi gets the inspiration for her artwork from nature, and the hidden and mysterious forces at work there.  She practices the Native American Earth Medicine religion, keeping her in touch with these forces and providing guidance in her work.
